Terms and Conditions – Shams Ourika

1. General

By booking and staying at Shams Ourika, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all reservations, stays, and services provided by Shams Ourika. The management reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Reservations and Payments

• All reservations are subject to availability and must be confirmed by Shams Ourika.
• A valid identification document (passport, CIN, or equivalent) is required at check‑in.
• Payment terms, including any required deposit, balance due, and accepted methods of payment, will be specified at the time of booking.
• Shams Ourika reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations in exceptional circumstances.

3. Check‑in and Check‑out

• Standard check‑in time: 2:00 PM.
• Standard check‑out time: 12:00 PM.
• Early check‑in or late check‑out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellations must be communicated in writing (email or other agreed method).
• Free cancellation is possible within the deadline specified in your booking confirmation.
• Late cancellations or no‑shows may result in partial or full retention of the deposit or payment made.

5. Guest Responsibilities

• Guests are expected to respect the property, staff, and other guests at all times.
• Any damage caused to rooms, furniture, or facilities during your stay will be charged to your account.
• Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
• Shams Ourika is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings left unattended.

6. House Rules

• Please respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
• Visitors of registered guests are only allowed in common areas unless authorized by management.
• Pets are allowed only if expressly confirmed prior to arrival.

7. Liability

• Shams Ourika is not liable for accidents, injuries, or illnesses that may occur on the premises.
• We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or any indirect losses caused by force majeure events (such as strikes, weather conditions, or government regulations).

8. Privacy and Data Protection

• Personal information collected during booking and stay will be used solely for operational and legal purposes and will be handled in compliance with applicable Moroccan data protection laws.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Moroccan law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Morocco.
